Hair Analysis

Hair tends to hold onto heavy metals and gives a great viewpoint of heavy metal toxicity.  Hair will also show one's mineral content.

• Nutrient Minerals such as Zinc, Calcium, Potassium, Magnesium, Chromium, etc..

We use Analytical Research Labs and Metametrix for hair analysis

Saliva Analysis

Saliva is the gold standard for analyzing hormones.  One can also assess adrenal function through saliva testing. We analyze the following hormones:

• Cortisol

We use Labrix for salivary analysis.

Stool Analysis

Stool analysis is beneficial to check the microbial flora of the gut (good vs. bad bacteria), detect yeast, parasites, and overall digestive health. We offer the following panels:

Urinalysis

 Like blood, urine can tell one many pictures of the current state of the body.  We offer the following through urinalysis:

• In office urine reagent analysis (blood, pH, bilirubin, urobilinogen, leukocytes, nitrates, ketones, protein, glucose, and specific gravity)
• Organic acid profile

Food Sensitivities

Food sensitivities are different than food allergies in that they are delayed.  They can manifest as headaches/migraines, skin issues, bowel issues, asthma, ADD/ADHD, chronic sinus issues, and much more.  We use the following companies to detect food sensitivities:

ALCAT 

The ALCAT test can test from 50 foods to 200 foods through a blood draw.  They can also detect environmental sensitivities, food colors/additives, molds/mildews, pharmacoactive agents, anti-inflammatory medication, and antibiotics.  Sensitivities are graded from mild to severe.  A food rotation diet is given to help you avoid the offending food. For more information, visit ALCAT's website.
