Damaged Red Car

Car Accident Injury Care in Garner, NC

If something hurts after a crash, get it examined, even if the crash seemed minor. I'm Dr. Adam Seay, D.C. I examine you first, measure what's wrong, and build a plan around what I find. With your written permission, your records go straight to your attorney if you have one. New crash patients can be seen within 3 business days. Call 919-662-0520 or tap Schedule Appointment above.

Emergencies first

If you have severe or worsening pain, new numbness or weakness in an arm or leg, trouble controlling your bladder or bowels, a severe headache, confusion, or repeated vomiting, call 911 or go to the emergency room before you call any office.

Your first visit after a crash

Plan on about an hour. Your first visit includes:

  • A crash history: where you were sitting, which way you were hit, and what you have felt since

  • A full exam with measured findings, including disability scores and range of motion, so your progress is a number, not a guess

  • A written plan tied to what I find

  • A referral for imaging or to another specialist if your exam calls for it

Bring a photo ID, your attorney's contact information if you have one, any emergency room or urgent care paperwork, and a list of your medications. Wear clothes you can move in.

Working with your attorney

Golden Justice Scales

With your written permission, I send your records, bills and status updates straight to your attorney. Status letters go out every 30 days with your measured progress, and requested records go out within 2 business days.

When an attorney represents you and you sign my agreement, I can hold your bill until your case settles.

No attorney? You can still be seen. I still hold your payment until you settle the claim. If you ask me for names of attorneys, I'll share ones whose work I know. I receive nothing for it, and the choice is always yours.

Questions About Car Accident Care

Q: Do I need a referral?
A: No. You can book directly by calling 919-662-0520 or through Schedule Appointment at the top of this page.

Q: The crash seemed minor. Should I still be checked?
A: If something hurts, yes. Many people feel fine at the scene and stiff the next morning. An exam soon after the crash records what is going on while it is fresh.

Q: Can you treat neck pain from a car accident?
A: Yes. We see whiplash and auto accident injuries. Dr. Seay examines you first and refers you for imaging or to another specialist if your exam calls for it.

Q: Do I need an attorney to be seen?
A: No. You can be seen with or without one. If you have an attorney, with your written permission I keep them updated with status letters and records.
